RESULTS
The soil moisture content and time-weighted runoff emerging from the bins
are given in Figure 5 for all tests (experiments). Test 4 had an anomalously low
soil moisture relative to the other tests in its series, and the FT bin had somewhat
lower soil moisture than the C bin in tests 1 and 15. Flow rates in the FT bin were
low relative to the C bin in tests 10, 11, and 12. These differences are conserva-
tive in that they favor reduced erosion in the FT bins relative to the C bins, but
generally more erosion occurred in the FT bin.
